Wedding Ceremony Brisbane
Glengariff Historic Estate offers sweeping mountain views that provide the perfect backdrop for your nuptials. We have so many stunning locations within the property to say “I do” however, most of our couples choose to exchange their vows on the Terrace.
The Terrace is popular for its dramatic backdrop with its stone arbours, hinterland views and beautiful gardens.
In the event of wet weather, wedding ceremonies are held in the beautiful Vintage Room, which offer the same breath-taking vista as the Terrace.
Our wedding ceremony inclusions consist of:
- Ornate registry table and chair
- Silk floral arrangements
- 14-metre red carpet
- P.A music system with full surround sound for ceremony
- 50 white tiffany chairs
Wedding Reception Brisbane
Creating the wedding reception of your dreams is our speciality at Glengariff Historic Estate and we can host weddings any day of the week.
Wedding receptions at our property generally begin with a garden party on the terrace before guests move inside to the Estate Room where they wait for the newlyweds and bridal party.
We take a lot of the stress from organising a wedding by providing a wide range of inclusions for our receptions. This includes;
- Exclusive use of Estate Room for reception
- Standard Venue hire – 5hour venue hire including ceremony and reception for (alternate drop or buffet menu). 4hour venue hire for cocktail soiree’s including ceremony and reception*(with option to extend up until 12midnight)
- An experienced wedding coordinator
- High ratio of staff for full guest and table service
- Bridal table decorations
- All linen, including tablecloths and napkins
- Cake table clothed and decorated with tea lights, silk rose petals and glass beads
- Ornate antique cake knife and server
- Antique silver cake stand
- Tiffany chairs and round or rectangle tables for reception
Getting Ready on Your Wedding Day
With weddings at Glengariff Historic Estate, you don’t need to worry about finding another location to get ready. Brides with their bridesmaids can have access to our hilltop villa for all the pre-wedding arrangements with access available from 6am.
We offer a Bridal Preparation Package which allows exclusive use of the luxury villa to get ready in style. It also includes two complimentary bottles of sparkling wine and tea and coffee facilities. We can also arrange catering during the day if desired.
The groom and groomsmen don’t miss out either. We offer a Debonair Package in the Gentlemen’s Lounge, where the men can calm their nerves for the two hours leading up to the big event. And located within the venue, you know that they’ll arrive on time!
